Dr. Su Kim is a native of Columbia who is honored to serve families in her hometown community with kind-hearted, quality pediatric dental care.
She received a full Dean's scholarship to attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County and later earned her Master's degree in Biology from Towson University. While studying at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Dr. Kim discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry, and it has since become her life's calling.
Dr. Kim graduated magna cum laude and in the top 8% of her class at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she earned her DDS. She went on to complete her Pediatric Dentistry Certificate and continues to pursue ongoing education to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric dental care. Dr. Su is proud to now be board certified! She is also now a Diplomate of the ABPD to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.
Our Columbia office is also home to the Maryland Lip and Tongue Tie Center! We provide results that will leave your infant joyfully able to move their mouths freely.

Dr. Su Kim is passionate about educating children on the importance of oral health and can often be found sharing her knowledge throughout the community. As a Dean's faculty member, she volunteers at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in the Pediatric Dental Department, where she teaches and mentors dental students.
Dr. Kim also volunteers at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center as their pediatric dentist for the cleft lip and cleft palate team. She is dedicated to providing specialized care for children with these conditions and helping them achieve optimal oral health.
My toddler had a wonderful time during his first visit to the dentist. Dr. Kim is a real natural with small children. She thoughtfully explained everything I needed to know about brushing and flossing toddler teeth. Very helpful since I’m a first time mom. The office was spotlessly clean and bright. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best part for my son was getting to watch Cocomelon on the ceiling while getting his teeth cleaned. That helped keep him calm during this new experience. My two year old just had her first dentist appointment with Dr Kim (thank you pandemic for us being a year behind), my daughter did not want to leave the office! The staff was very kind and welcoming to my overly curious child. Dr Kim made the experience fun, and very fast. The office was very clean, warm, and inviting.
